About the job
About who needs care: My brother has had a stroke about 9 years ago; recently fell for unknown reasons. He has some aphasia and word-finding problems but is overall fairly independent. We are looking for a strong person who would be willing to stay with him for a few weeks after hospital/rehab discharge. About the care needs: Able to make simple meals Willing to stay with him for a whole shift for the short term Able to drive him to an appointment using his car Able to do basic grocery shopping Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
