Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Charlotte

About who needs care: She is in reasonal general health and does not need help with showering or dressing. Mom is an introvert and isolates herself. She does not eat enough. I live nearby and help her a lot so I am flexible about times and tasks because we can be a team. I want someone who can fix a healthy lunch or dinner, take a short walk with her, do light housework, possibly run short errands, and generally give her company. About the care needs: A pleasant, intelligent person who can engage my mother but who also respect her introverted, private nature. Someone willing to be on a team with me and to communicate and coordinate care with me. I will pay for the time it takes to do that. I can be flexible about days, times, and tasks, but I want someone my mother can get used to, so I need consistency. Someone who will prepare simple healthy food and gently encourage Mom to eat, and drink water. I want someone who will encourage her to move - around the house and on short walks. Someone who would take her out on short errands or outings would be a plus. There are many small housework tasks that can be coordinated with me. There may be days my mother does not feel like talking or engaging, so I need someone willing to keep busy. My mother does have a house cleaner regularly so any housework will be light. I would ideally like someone who can get to know and care about my very kind, sweet mother, anticipate her needs, and encourage activities that engage her mentally amdhsically. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
