About the job
About who needs care: Sever COPD. Oxygen for last 7 years. Oxygen level drops with standing or transferring from lift chair to wheelchair. Arthritis in both knees so not able to bend to enable over the tub bath or shower. We have a room for bed bath with hospital bed, over the bed table and all the supplies for bed bath. I have been doing this for several years but getting to be too much for an old lady! Once a week will be sufficient. About the care needs: He is 260 lbs but able to transfer from wheelchair to bed. He can roll to side to wash back. No heavy lifting. He is a joker and likes to kid folks. No grumpy, but will tell you if something doesn't suit him. I will be on site for assistance if needed, but will stay out of the way if not needed. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
