About who needs care: Conditions: metastatic prostate cancer, COPD Just moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina to be cared for by family- will be living with a daughter who is a RN. Help will be needed the 3 days she works. Cognition is good most times but can be forgetful Easy to get along with, fairly easy to please. He needs company, assistance with meals and possibly bathing, and reminders to do PT exercises and to get up and move. About the care needs: He struggles the heat sometimes so heavy accents are difficult for him. Hed really love someone with a sense of humor. Hed love someone who is willing to chat and keep him company, not just complete his care tasks Services needed include: transportation, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
