Hands-on Care Needed For My Loved One In Asheville

About who needs care: Deryl has been bed-ridden for a year following a stroke, Services to try to get him walking have been unreliable. They are supposed to start again soon. He needs someone who can help get him in a lift, bathe him, prepare his meal and help clean up. Currently he needs diapers changed until he gets the ability to get out of bed. About the care needs: Deryl prefers a male caregiver or someone strong because he needs to start getting out of bed. He is only 58 and fully intends to walk again once services begin again. We want someone with a positive personality who can joke around and be friendly and encouraging. The days of the week may be flexible but we need someone on the weekends for sure. Hours are also flexible, but we want consistent hours that start in the morning. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
