Companion Care Needed For Elderly Mother In East Asheville

We are looking for companion care for my mother in East Asheville. Though she is fairly independent and mobile with her walker, occasional assistance in changing locations is needed. She needs someone to hand her medications and watch her take them. We prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Prepared diet-specific meals are provided and only need to be heated and/or plated. Preference for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with a sweet but active ginger kitty. We need coverage every other week from 6 a.m. on Monday to 9 a.m. on Tuesday. This position is contract for 54 hours a month at $20 an hour. Additional hours are available if there is interest.
