About who needs care: My wife is frail and has mild cognitive impairment . She mainly has problems with recent memory . She is alert, ambulates independently, and takes care of her own dressing and bathroom needs. I need someone to help wth meal preparation, maybe run a few errands and help feed and let out the dogs. I mainly want someone here to call the nurse and security in the unlikely event she should fall. Have recurring need for 1-3 weeks help approximately twice per year. Margaret spends most of her day from about 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in bed reading or watching tv. She gets herself to the dining table and we typically eat one meal per day. She will put herself to bed around 7-8 p.m. About the care needs: Laid back, sociable lady. My wife is easy to get along with. Ideally, I would like to interview the sitter before engaging. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
