About the job
65-year-old male, post stroke and in a wheelchair needs help around house and ADL's. We need hands-on care to take care of my brother in Missoula. We need someone who can perform light housekeeping like doing dishes, sweeping / mopping floors, wiping counters, changing linens, dumping trash, doing laundry etc. He doesn't usually, but he may need some help with bathing, mainly mopping up wet floor to avoid slipping and falling. Meals are important. We are looking for someone who can actually cook, and not just slap a sandwich together. My brother enjoys his solitude, but also enjoys a good listener for his stories and jokes. We might ask you to run errands now and then. If you have your own transportation to bring him on doctor's appointments that is a plus. No smoking on the job. CPR/first-aid is a bonus.
