About who needs care: Loves to play cards. Her body is aging but her mind is sharp. She has a creative mind and is always being busy. She sleeps in and loves to chat. She is the sweetest, most loving lady, and she is lonely. Her role has changed as a grandparent and she is feeling like she isn't needed but she is. I love her to pieces and I want her to have a friend that can take her places for errands and just be her companion. She has trouble walking because her hip hurts and I am afraid that she will fall if she continues going out by herself. I live in Big Timber and can only see her once a week and my parents are helping my siblings so they can only see her twice a week. I just want someone there for her one extra day a week so she isn't lonely. About the care needs: I need someone who will not take advantage of her. She is a gift giver and will give all the money out of her wallet or the shirt off her back. I need someone who is firm in saying no to those things. I want someone who is a good at conversing and redirecting her when needed. My grandmother has lost her filter and doesn't say things to be unkind but she says things without realizing they may hurtful. I need someone who knows how to play MANY card games and have a creative mind. She loves doing little projects and being busy around the house, just having someone there to help and be a friend would be amazing. The person would need to be able to take her blood pressure and know what to do if she were to fall. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
