About who needs care: He is a diabetic and has had several open heart surgeries but does not have problems with his heart. Needs medication management and meal prep and help with caring for himself bathing etc we are hoping he will get better and not need so much help. He is in the hospital now and will be getting some rehab when he gets out and hopefully he can go home by himself He has been living by himself up until this week totally independent with everything including his insulin and diabetes management and medications. He loves to sit outside on pretty days half the day and watch the little wild animals come around. About the care needs: Someone who loves the outdoors and loves animals and someone who could talk to him about hunting etc He has raised hunting dogs his whole life so someone who's interested in that would be awesome. He really doesn't have any other hobbies other than watching TV. He has a big one and a half acre yard that he keeps immaculate by himself so someone interested in flowers would also be a plus. His yard looked like a national park even this year. So someone with an outdoorsy personality would fit him very well. He's a little shy but he was a big boss over a factory for 40 years so he does know how to deal with people and he has a very gentle personality and is soft-hearted. He loves the kitty cats that were left when my mom passed away last year suddenly they were married 64 years. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
