Valid driver's license Certification in CPR/First Aid Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in elder care or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a family team Background and drug check may be required Average Day: Arrive as couple gets home from gym Prep and serve lunch Encourage a shower Clean up after lunch Prep dinner Prep lunch and dinner for next day(s) AS NEEDED: Fill pill boxes Order prescriptions Check medical portal Update white board calendar Pick up things that are piling up (put away or discard as appropriate) Organize refrigerator, pantry, closet Change sheets encouraging help from clients Do laundry encouraging help from clients Make a grocery list OR shop with clients Drive/ride with client(s) to doctor Report pertinent info to daughter
