Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Hattiesburg

About who needs care: Mom had a stoke in January 2023. Wheelchair bound. Can help some with transfers but mostly unable to transfer to wheelchair, bed, toilet without assistance. Need all ADL's and light housekeeping as she is unable to do most things at all. Has 3 cats and 1 dog as well that would need to be attended to. Unable to dress self or bath self. Can feed herself and brush her teeth if it is set up for her and given to her. Has some dementia but it comes in waves, not consistent. Her day consist of mostly watching TV in either her bedroom or the den. We have an electric lift recliner. Caregiver would need to be able to prepare her meals, do laundry and just in general keep the area neat. We are not looking for someone to deep clean or anything like that, just clean up behind Mom, pets, and herself. About the care needs: Caring person who enjoys visiting with elderly. Need reliable transportation. CNA helpful but not required. Wrist blood pressure daily. Medications twice daily. ( Meds are already filled in weekly organizer) Understanding of proper body mechanics and lifting. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
