About who needs care: We need full-time care for both my in-laws. Their final wishes are to pass away at home. My mother-in-law is bedridden but has her mental faculties. She's in bed and watches TV most all day, however she's very needy and bossy. My father-in-law has dementia and stage 4 cancer. He is on in-home hospice and they come several times a week. He is very weak and is a fall hazard. He does smoke and there is a dog in the house but she's very friendly. About the care needs: We need someone who's understanding but firm as the in-laws are stubborn and set in their ways. Both wear diapers and will need to be bathed and changed regularly. Their sleep patterns are not normal... they may sleep all day and stay awake all night. The caretaker will need patience when dealing with them. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
