About who needs care: He has Dementia, some upper-body strength, about 130 pounds or less, quiet nature person, sweet-spirited, and an amazing smile. He will talk a little. Loves to listen to music like old R/B, and music from his era. He is an Omega man. The fraternity, that is. He loves to watch TV. He would enjoy going outside, and possibly going on a ride in the neighborhood in his wheel chair. He is a great eater, but his food has to be pureed now due to swallowing. He is really a humanitarian at heart. He cares for people. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver for my father would be one that is purposed in the area of giving care to the elder. One that is patient and attentive. This person would have to possess some strength to be able to turn, lift with the assistive tools provided for dad's care. One that can put a decent meal together as well. It would be lovely if this person is God-fearing with integrity. A person skilled to do the duties and responsibilities required to provide my father excellent care in his latter life. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
