About who needs care: Amy is a 44-year-old diabetic with high blood pressure. She had a stroke a year and a half ago. She recently had a brain tumor removed. She has some memory loss from the stroke and is a fall risk. She lives at home with her sister, her mom (67), and her 2 nieces, (13 & 11) Amy's sister works from home so she can take care of both her sister and their mom. They need help on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The ideal person will make breakfast lunch, and dinner, clean up those meals, and help Amy and her mom throughout the day. They may require assistance getting around the house or changing soiled linens. The day-to-day necessities will vary. We may be interested in extending this to other days of the week but would like to start with Mondays. About the care needs: We are looking for someone that is caring, fun loving, and maybe a little sarcastic. The perfect person would be willing to take them to appointments if necessary. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
