About who needs care: My Father is a 77 yr old Man- lives with my mom . They are both sweet and kind- just not aging well. My dad has bad back arthritis, lumbar and cervical- he recently just had a cervical surgery and came home from rehab. Still very weak- is using a walker and a wheelchair. He needs assistance with transfers in and out of bed, to wheelchair and lift recliner, and to toilet. Need assist with taking meds. Assist with meal set up. Assist with bathing and dressing. Assist with toileting and hygiene. Brushing teeth and shaving. My mom is not able to help him with balance issues herself. Some light housekeeping would also be needed. Vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, sweeping kitchen. Wiping table and counter, taking out trash, carrying laundry to basement. About the care needs: Someone who is kind and ready to work. Patient with older folks. Able to listen and take their time with elderly and those who's minds don't work as fast any more and have hearing problems Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
