About the job
Mom is 78 and has Alzheimer's. She lives in her own home. My sister, my niece and her husband all live there, but all work various schedules. I'm looking for someone to come over most weekdays for 2-4 hours to make lunch and visit. Mom is a picky eater. We make sure she has food she likes but she won't fix a meal. She loves to play scrabble, do jigsaw puzzles. She once maintained beautiful gardens on property but isn't up to it anymore. She loves to share her vacation scrapbooks. She has speech issues. Her short term memory is poor and she is easily confused. She gets frustrated and sometimes mildly hits herself on the head, but no worse. She can be sweet but also uncooperative. She has good and bad days. The schedule is flexible. My sister is home one day a week which varies. I'm often there on Mondays.
