About who needs care: Diabetic. Colon and breast cancer survivor. Has had a minor stroke and also has a colostomy bag. She does live independently, has a regular cleaning crew but they also do personal errands for her. She needs companionship as much as anything else. We also be need help with focused personal assistance to her in terms of bathing, household tasks, medication reminders, helping her organize items and prioritize her goals for the day. She has some memory loss as well but mild. About the care needs: Patience with an elderly client. My mother realizes she's failing but its hard for her to admit it and let go. Patience and listening is what she needs the most. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
