About who needs care: My grandmother has mobility issues from a recent fall. She needs help to and from the restroom as well as with medicine and meals. My mom is caring for her full time so we are looking for help to support her so she gets breaks. About the care needs: Redressing wounds would be a bonus but not necessary as my mother can handle that. We are looking for someone who isn't squeamish as she occasionally requires help cleaning up from using the bathroom. From a temperament perspective, someone who is patient but firm would be ideal. My grandmother understands that she needs help but is frustrated by her immobility and occasionally makes a passive aggressive comments. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
