About who needs care: She can take care of her own bathing, restroom and dressing needs. She can do her own laundry and very simple cooking. She is the ultimate "people person". Very friendly and caring. She has short term memory issues. We are concerned she is not eating well. There are family members in the area that can get get to important doctor appointments. Her senior independent living building is temporarily without a shuttle diver. Ideally, we would like to have someone check in on her more often, for short period of time, rather than just a couple of times a week for a lot of hours. We gets around well with a walker. She has friends in her building that she socialize with. Her only hobby is television. About the care needs: Someone friendly. No real skills needed and really no hobbies. Someone who likes to "chat." Willing to do light house keeping. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
