Transportation 2x Per Week - Ballwin Area

Looking for someone to help get my mom to and from dialysis appointments two times per week. Preferably someone local to the Ballwin/Ellisville area. From home to the dialysis clinic it's a short 1. 5 mile drive. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Transportation Aide to assist my mother with her transportation needs. This role involves safely driving them to various appointments while providing companionship and ensuring their comfort during transit. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide safe and reliable transportation to and from medical appointments, social gatherings, and other activities. - Assist with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring the safety and comfort. - Engage in friendly conversation to provide companionship during drives. - Help with any mobility aids (e. g., walker, cane) as needed. - Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies. - Monitor and manage time effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures. **Qualifications:** - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Experience in caring for or transporting elderly individuals is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, empathy, and a friendly demeanor. - Ability to assist with mobility aids and provide physical support if necessary. -Prefer a small SUV or crossover for ease getting into and out of the vehicle. **Working Conditions:** - This position involves driving in various weather conditions and navigating different environments. - Though my mother is ambulatory and can walk, and herself into and out of vehicles, The role may require occasional lifting or physical assistance. **Compensation:** - Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
