About who needs care: Widowed father, used to be a farmer but now lives on lake. He possibly has a MILD case of dementia, I think a lot of it also has to do with him not being active physically or mentally.
Does not do much other than sitting around. Likes airplanes, boating, watching old tv shows, yard work, farming, and just chatting.
Looking for someone to come check on him a couple times a week. Make sure he is taking his medication, chat with him, clean up kitchen, bathroom, and laundry as needed. Also encourage him to shower and stay hygienic.
About the care needs: Looking for someone outgoing, patient, and doesn't mind chatting. Our mom used to be very social, talkative, outgoing and he went along with her. Now that she is gone (since October 2023) he has not had anyone to talk to. No special skills, just someone that is willing to clean sometimes, hang out with him, and make sure he is taking medication.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
