About the job
About who needs care: 90 yr-old 155 lb. father with mild dementia broke his leg 12/23/24, 6 weeks to heal. Deaf father and mother living in basement apartment of daughter's house. Daughter's family are hearing and can interpret and can assist with communication. Duties: 1. Overnight help 2. Help position father in/out of bed. 3. Assist father with frequent urination ihnto and urinal (3-4 times/night). 4. Call family member to assist father with BMs (if needed) in porta potty (in-frequent). 5. Mother is very capable and needs no support. About the care needs: Patient, caring individual. Ability to rotate father to side of bed. Ability to transport father to nearby porta potty with family member assistance if needed. Bonus - Familiarity with American Sign Language but not required. Services needed: bathing/dressing, and mobility assistance.
