About who needs care: Mom and Dad are both 95. Mom has mild dementia (short term memory loss) but dresses and toilets herself. She needs help with a shower once a week, reminders to change her disposable underwear and to use her walker. Assistance with simple meal prep and clean up, laundry, accompany to nearby appointments, She is good natured and like to play scrabble. Dad is more independent and mentally sharp but still need reminders and help. He has a small dog that needs to be let out. They nap between 1-4 so don't need help then. They can be alone for periods of time if they are together. About the care needs: No specialized skills needed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
