About who needs care: I am a 26-year-old woman with cerebral palsy who uses a power wheelchair to navigate and an augmentative communication device to speak. I am independent, self-motivated, active, and creative. I value my social networks and involvement in the community, as well as a lot of solitude to focus on my remote work and writing projects. In my free time, I love to journal, read, travel, work out, try new coffee shops, and explore the Twin Cities with my friends! The position involves helping with all physical cares: eating, dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and so on. Cleaning and cooking duties will be assigned throughout your shift.
