About who needs care: Diagnosed with ALS. Needs help getting out of bed and ready for the day. Uses a walker at home but is transitioning into a wheelchair as the disease progresses. 1-2 hours per day, 7 days a week. About the care needs: An outgoing personality. She was an athletic person who loved to garden before being diagnosed. She is very funny and loves laughter. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
