About who needs care: Mother with prior limited mobility has a surgically repaired broken right arm. Currently needs a respite caregiver for twice a week. She does need someone to help her to the bathroom and lightly assist. Handing her snacks, beverages, medications and other items would be the other main task. Might assist with a few grooming tasks, brushing teeth, washing face. Other wise hang out for 8 hours so daughter can rest or run errands twice a week. About the care needs: Sweet and flexible woman would be best. Strength for assisting her to stand (260#). Slow and non hurried pace. Able to prepare simple snacks like toast, cutting up fruit and making coffee. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
