About who needs care: Too much to list here. A few health conditions: osteoarthritis throughout much of body; history of bilateral knee & hip replacement; decreasing memory; fall risk; long history of depression; bipolar; failure to thrive. Losing lots of weight due to depression & not eating much on most days. Mom enjoys playing cards! Used to read books, not so much anymore. Likes puzzles. Likes to visit people. About the care needs: Someone who likes to play cards. Someone who likes to listen, yet be prepared she will sometimes focus too much on her disabilities vice abilities. Mom doesn't have a lot of will to focus on positives. She is depressed. Her aging body and mind have been very challenging for her. I would like to have conversations with potential caregivers and include my 81-year-old dad who lives with my mom. There is a lot of medical history with my mom. I live out of state. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
