About the job
About who needs care: Brother-in-law, Rob is 82 with mild to moderate dementia. He is a retired physician, ophthalmologist, runner, hiker, biker and walker. He is generally in good physical health and loves to walk daily. He is a diabetic, insulin dependent. Rob lives at an assisted living facility where his daily physical and medical care is provided for. he needs a walking buddy and someone to dive him to outing from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. daily. His brother, my husband Tom is his POA and we live within a mile from the retirement community. We need help in the afternoons while we are working. About the care needs: He loves going for car rides and walking 2-4 miles daily. He loves sports. He was a master chess player at one time. He liked to play Bridge and is still able to follow a game. We need an active care companion. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
