About who needs care: My mom has Parkinsons' and frontal lobal dementia. We are looking into care for her in the mornings, (someone to get her cleaned up, any clothing that is dirty into the laundry, basic cleaning up each morning). They have a house cleaner already, but the bathroom needs to be cleaned up each day and help get her something to eat. In the kitchen we need light cleaning (vacuum the floor under her chair, wipe the counters, etc). She walks with a walker right now, but really needs supervision. My father is still in the home, but needs breaks and the ability to leave the house - even for an hour - to give him a break! About the care needs: I suspect she will respond better to having a female caregiver, especially for showering. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
