About who needs care: my friend is very fragile and eating disordered. She has such terrible arthritis. she is no longer able to do her own laundry, but wants to stay in her apartment. I have been helping her with her laundry, but it is getting increasingly difficult for me to do so. I am wondering if there is anyone in your organization who picks up laundry, washes, folds, and delivers the laundry back to people. Shes not able to carry things up and down the steps of her second floor apartment . About the care needs: she is very lonely and very talkative when you are around her. She only listens to the radio and likes to chat about what she hears at great length. She is quite politically minded and leans left. Someone who is quite conservative might find it stressful to listen to her orations. ;) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
