About the job
About who needs care: I'm his case manager, Robert is a client that needs aftercare for knee surgery. He needs 48hrs of supervision following the surgery. I may be able to find a day provider, but he needs night supervision. Male staff preferred. He may need help with getting to and from the bathroom. About the care needs: Male, preferably with first aid or some first responder knowledge. Robert is disabled but very independent, he used to be a first responder. He loves to share his interests and things about himself, so preferably a caregiver that is a good listener and likes to converse would be a good fit for him. He will probably be on pain medication though so he might also just sleep most of the time. He's around 175lbs so caregiver would need to be physically able to help get him up/walk with him if the situation arises. His doctor says he will be able to walk independently after 2 days following his knee surgery, but I'm not sure what his level of ability will be for those 2days.
