About the job
About who needs care: My father recently came home from a 15 day stay in the hospital and needs someone to stay with him so my mom can get a break. He has slight confusion following the hospitalization but is basically able to care for himself. He is a doctor and my mom is a nurse so they have lots of medical experience but are both aging and get confused. About the care needs: Patience, likes dogs, sense of humor, willingness to listen to my mom and help keep my dad in check. He loves to exercise and read, she loves art and cooking. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
