Live-in Home Care Needed For My Mother In Mankato

About who needs care: 93 yo living in an assisted living. We need live in help for a month to help rehab her after a fall and until we can determine if she can remain in this living situation. We are utilizing services here. Responsibility would include assisting staff, taking her for short walks, companionship and reinforcing staff cares and teaching. Some minor meal prep, laundry and housekeeping in her apt. She has 1200 square feet with a separate second bedroom with its own bath. Hopefully, this is temporary assignment. She has a compression Fx of back and visual impairment from macular degeneration. Short term memory issues. She used to enjoy knitting and sewing, but memory loss in using sewing machine and knitting is a challenge. Right now her days are about controlling back pain and trying to regain independence in cares. About the care needs: Mature, patient, kind, upbeat and encouraging.. Mom is small (125#) No specialized skill needed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
