About who needs care: Patient has ALS. Cannot use arms or walk on his own. Needs help with all personal care (bathing, dressing, eating, etc) and toileting. Mostly stays in recliner except for when he needs to go to the bathroom - which he needs assistance with. About the care needs: Caregiver should be able to help transfer, bathe, feed, etc. Patient did construction his whole life - loves hunting and fishing and sports. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
