Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable on-call caregiver to provide backup care for our permanent live-in caregiver during times of illness, vacation, or other absences. This position requires availability on an as-needed basis and includes training alongside our primary caregiver to ensure seamless care continuity. About the Client: Our mother is a paraplegic who requires assistance with daily activities, including dressing, toileting, bathing, and transfers using a Hoyer lift. She does not require overnight care but does need support throughout the day. She is highly independent in spirit and enjoys staying engaged with trivia, card games, and watching game shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune daily.
