Companion Care Needed For My Mother In West Bloomfield

We need companion care to take care of my mother in West Bloomfield. She is in a skilled nursing facility, so her basic needs are being taken care of. Family will be out of town through the winter and we want someone who can stop by a few times a week and be our eyes and ears to make sure she is being taken care of properly. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping to tidy up her room in the facility. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction, trimming nails, encouraging her to get out of bed and participate in activities. She is paralyzed on one side due to a stroke and uses a wheelchair. Aids in the nursing home should be getting her in and out of bed and dressed, showered etc. She also suffers from aphasia and can only say a few words but she is cognitively present. Need someone who is patient.
