Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Wayland

About who needs care: She has memory issues, depression and anxiety. She used to knit, sew and scrap book, but due to memory issues struggles with them. She's given up driving so remains in her apartment most of the time. We're looking for someone who can assist with taking her to Dr. Appointments when we can't and relay information on those appointments to us, help us engage her in senior activities in the community by providing transportation, and mental health support. She's a smoker, and has an aneurism that the Dr's are monitoring yearly. We've encouraged her to quit smoking, but it's been difficult since she uses it as a coping mechanism. We're looking for someone who can come in once a week for about 2 hours ar a time. About the care needs: Someone with memory care and senior mental health experience. Someone encouraging, supportive, direct but kind in the delivery. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
