About who needs care: My dad has Parkinson's disease with limited mobility. Needs help with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal prep. Assistance with transfers from bed to walker/ wheelchair and using toilet. Medication reminders, appointment assistance and light housekeeping. My mother will also need help when she has surgery in the near future. About the care needs: The right care giver should have a lot of patience with my dad. He moves very slowly. Be able to take direction from my mom and have attention to details. CPR training is a must. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
