About who needs care: Parkinson's Disease, but he walks unaided; cognitive decline. Likes to read, walk outside, converse about the past. Needs cueing and direction, and re-direction. Watches movies, news & sports. About the care needs: A good conversationalist who can get Ted talking & listen, engage him. Someone who sees things that can be done st he house & does them, e. g. dishes in the sink get rinsed & go in the dishwasher, folding Ted clothes, empty Teds trash. Teds meds are set up for the week & caregiver needs to make sure he takes them on schedule. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
