I'm looking for a compassionate lady who's in the area to help get my 89-year-old bedbound mother cleaned twice a day. I'd also like her to get out of bed and into her wheelchair periodically. We have a Hoyer lift for that purpose. Last year we had a caregiver who was an angel from heaven. Unfortunately, she's no longer able to assist. I'm hoping to find another capable person to swoop in and help give mom a little quality of life. Mom has begun to show signs of dementia, but she is still very communicative and will participate in her care by moving in the bed. I've posted this same position a few times but didn't end up hiring anyone because I just continued to care for mom myself. I have not had a day off since her previous caregiver left last July. I'm to the point where I need some help.
