About who needs care: My mom has brain cancer and her cognitive abilities are rapidly declining. We are having difficulties navigating the healthcare system and hospice, so we are looking for a temporary caregiver in the meantime. She spends most her time watching TV, even before the cancer, so all we need help with is hygiene, feeding, and keeping an eye on her during the day. About the care needs: We are looking for someone kind and patient. Previous experience with dementia patients would be appreciated. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
