Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Southgate

About who needs care: Loretta is blind in her left eye and almost blind in her right, she has memory loss and struggles with bouts of grief about the loss of her vision, brothers. She lives at home in a home owned by her and my partner, he is trying to fix it up to sell but he works full time and has children, I live in Canada and help as much as I can but my psychotherapy practice is getting busier and my ability to go there will be reducing. Loretta needs both companionship and someone to feed her breakfast and get her going in the morning. someone to help her shower a few times a week because she doesn't ever want to and it would be great for David to have help around the house with Laundry and general cleaning. she can walk but is slow. She is overweight and diabetic but loves to eat it's her only real joy she has left so we have been trying to feed her healthier food. now that the weather is better it would be great to get her more mobile. Someone with some experience helping people with memory loss would be helpful. She can get a little ornery in the moments when her vison loss and loss of independence sneak up on her but she is kind and loving and mostly lonely. About the care needs: Just someone who is kind but tough. preferably with some experience with early memory loss and vision loss. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
