About who needs care: Mom just needs someone to help her a bit in the house, she does not need any medical help. She simply cannot go downstairs to do her laundry, and she lives on a very busy road, so her getting her mail is out of the question. She also must not drive, so she just needs someone to take her . She also does not eat well, and it would be nice to have someone make her lunch 3x a week, and check to make sure she is eating adequately. About the care needs: Mom is very religious, but does not share it much with anyone. She gets upset when she can't understand a foreign accent. An out-going, friendly and patient demeanor will be important. Mom can be a bit of a bear! She does not watch TV, nor does she own one. Talking with her can be challenging, but it's best to let her lead the conversation. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
