Location: Oakland County, Macomb County, and Wayne County Waylight is looking for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. Waylight is a non-medical home care agency committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through compassionate and personalized care. Responsibilities May Include: Aid clients with companion and/or personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers Assist clients with active and passive mobility exercises as defined by the care plan and document changes to the Care Services Manager Provide companionship and emotional support during the shift Perform light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders Monitor the client for any changes in condition and report to the Care Services Manager Adhere to company on-going training policies to ensure consistent growth and learning for Caregivers, both experienced and new to caregiving Schedule: All shifts/hours, full-time and part-time opportunities available Requirements: High school diploma or GED Physical ability to assist with mobility and transfers as needed Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull Must be able to assist clients with varying weight needs, ensuring proper and safe transfer techniques Valid Driver's License and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle Adherence to HIPAA guidelines and maintenance of client confidentiality Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client care Flexibility to work various shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays based on client needs Company Overview: Waylight is a non-medical home care provider committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through compassionate and personalized care.
