Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Muskegon

About who needs care: We are looking for someone to check in daily, probably mornings, on my mother in law Barb, who is 86. She's pretty self sufficient but may need help reaching for something for example. Beginning February 17 and lasting 5 weeks. Barb is recovering from hip replacement surgery in early December. She gets around well with her walker and is able to get around the house, use the restroom & shower, light laundry, some cooking etc. Barb has been living with my wife and I since getting out of the hospital and is ready to go back to her home while my wife and I are gone for a while. Barb is a retired teacher. She loves her cat and two dogs. Barb spends her days with her pets and watching tv, mainly news programs and old movies. About the care needs: Someone who is patient since Barb loves to talk! Someone who is tolerant of a cat and two dogs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
