About the job
About who needs care: my husband is suffering from dementia. He has been in the hospital for Covid plus UTI infection and was discharged to a rehab facility. We are looking at a discharge date of March 4, 2025. He gets sick very easily and then gets very week and is hard for me to do transfers etc. We will be getting some home care visits from a nurse plus PT & OT but we may need extra help, especially when he is sick. I would like to see him up about 10 a.m. I will be able to get his meals and feed him. About 6 or 7 I would like him in bed before he gets to tired to help with the transfer. He will then probably fall asleep about 11 p.m. About the care needs: dementia care, transfer experience, someone easy going but firm as he seems to feel that he does not need help. I do not know at this time how much help we will need. I am just trying to reach out to see what is available. Services needed include: transportation, and mobility assistance.
