Companion Care Needed For My Loved One In Howard City

About who needs care: Seeking Home Living Supports for our 30-year-old son, seeking to transition him from an AFC home to more independence but still with some supervision and supports hopefully decreasing gradually as he gains more function. He has a diagnosis of Schizophrenia and some damage to his brain from seizures caused by psychiatric medications. He was previously fully functional and independent, attending school, working full time, driving, before entering the mental health system after an episode. It has been a 5 year journey, but we own a house in Howard City that we plan to move him to in the next couple of months to help him recover and gain independence again. Seeking CLS/Support staff to assist with some transportation, shopping, organization, cooking, maintenance, encouraging him, mentoring him, checking in on him, supervising him. Prefer male staff for him. probably 4-5 days a week 1st shift, transitioning to less days as he starts working again. His Dad is his guardian currently. About the care needs: Male, strong person of faith (Christian). Our son enjoys video editing, audio production, graphic arts, music, more of a computer guy than "Outdoorsy", Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
