About the job
I'm looking for companion care for my mother in her late 70s with Alzheimers. We are looking for someone to manage light house keeping and meal preparation, including picking up the groceries for prep (compensation for time). Ideally someone who is interested in adding hours as my mom's condition progresses. Can be flexible with hours, days and vacations. Ideal candidate would be able to form a relationship with her (and myself and my father) now, while she is still fairly lucid and remembers people and could stay with us as time goes on and she needs more help. She is physically healthy and does not currently need any medical or physical assistance. Preference for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
