About who needs care: I have limited ability to care for myself. I live in an independent living facility, but I can no longer live independently. For instance, taking a shower is very difficult. My laundry is done by my cleaning girl, but it is just piled on chairs because I can no longer put it away. We are served three meals a day in our dining room, but I have had only three or four meals there in the past several months. I order food on my phone, and it is delivered to my apartment. So I end up paying for food twice. I would go to the dining hall, but its I can walk, but only a very short distance (10 feet or so). I use a mobility scooter to get around, but I usually leave my apartment only for doctors appointments or family gatherings. My son usually takes me to doctors appointments. About the care needs: My caregiver needs to be physically strong because I am so weak. I need help with showering and dressing. I also need her to put my laundry away after it is cleaned by my cleaning lady. My weight has changed a lot in the last year, so I have lots of clothes that don't fit. Those clothes need to be put in boxes and stored. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
